Tennis Shoe Project
Students at Concord are collecting tennis shoes that they have outgrown and recycling them through a project sponsored by the YMCA.

1. Shoes are refurbished and sent to third world countries such as Haiti and
other countries in South America.

2. Shoes are sold to refurbishing companies (at minimal cost) and money
made is used to help the YMCA scholarship program (helps sends kids to
camps, after-school programs, sports)
